Starting on the floor, Shaggy shows how he can climb up from one shelf to the next and then hide away behind the old answering machine.
If ever you have a corn snake escape in your room, take note of their agility and climbing ability. Snakes, though, are creatures of habit (generally) and this is a favourite haunt of Shaggy's when he is out and about in my room here - he quite often goes into this cabinet - so it would be one of the first places I would look if he ever escaped from the vivarium. Having said that though, when I did mistakenly leave the vivarium door open overnight once some time ago, Shaggy had not bothered to get out of the viv at all - he was sat there looking at the open door. (Alice on the other hand, had disappeared behind another cabinet and took a few minutes to extricate). |
